Breakfast and lunch packed
We offer breakfast to our overnight guests during the school summer holidays, and for the rest of the year, we provide breakfast on selected days. Breakfast should ideally be pre-booked when making a reservation or via the additional purchase link received in the booking confirmation.
During our low season from October to Easter, we do not offer the option to purchase breakfast unless there is significant activity in the hostel.
Breakfast is typically served from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, but changes may occur depending on the hostel’s activities.
Make Your Own Packed Lunch
Alongside our breakfast, you can choose to make your own packed lunch. Just pick what you like from our breakfast buffet to create your lunch. It’s perfect if you’re going out for the day and want to bring your own food with you.

Families are welcome to use our guest kitchen. You’ll find refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, coffee machines, kettles, as well as dishes and various kitchen utensils available.
Additionally, we have a barbecue area in our cozy courtyard. You’ll need to bring your own charcoal etc. Meals can be enjoyed either in the dining area of the guest kitchen or at the outdoor tables/benches provided. Groups have the option to rent a space with their own kitchen facilities.
If you’re traveling with a group and prefer a private space where you can socialize and enjoy your own food and drinks without disturbance from other guests, you can rent a room equipped with kitchen facilities.

Vacation with Dogs
Dog-friendly accommodation – bring your dog on holiday
Dogs are welcome with us in their own basket. However, you must always contact us directly at [email protected] to reserve accommodation with a dog, as we only have a few rooms where we allow dogs.
The dog may be left alone in the room if it does not disturb other guests. The dog is welcome in our courtyard and on our outdoor areas; however, the dog must be on a leash in both places. The dog is not allowed in our dining room, guest kitchen, or TV room.
It is expected that dogs brought to Danhostel Vejle Hostel are calm, accustomed to many people, new places, not noisy, and that consideration is taken for other guests who may not like dogs.
Dog in its own basket: DKK 140,- per night.
The area around Ådalen is a lovely natural area where you can walk with the dog.
