A self-service hostel usually involves minimal interaction with staff on arrival. You will receive a welcome email/text message on the day of arrival with further information.

Early check-in arrival from 12:00 noon can be purchased for 200 kr.

We have 130 beds in 30 rooms. All rooms have a private entrance.
Room sizes vary from 20 to 32 m2 depending on the number of beds in the rooms.

Room facilities:
The rooms are furnished with 2 single beds that can be joined together to form a double bed, as well as bunk beds. Each room has a wardrobe, a table with chairs and free Wi-Fi.

Yes, bed linen and a towel are included in the room rate. Bedding is ready in the room, guests have to make the bed themselves

Upon departure, bed linen must be returned in the linen drop off opposite reception.
Extra linen and towels can always be rented at reception.

Parking is free with us.

We have a large parking lot so you’ll never have a problem parking with us.

We have 2 Clever charging stations that can be used. The car must be moved when charged

Yes, we offer breakfast during the school summer vacation. The rest of the year we offer breakfast on selected days on selected days.

Breakfast must generally be pre-ordered in connection with the reservation or via the purchase link received in the confirmation of the stay. Breakfast is generally served from 08.00 to 09.30

Families are welcome to use our guest kitchen. There are fridges, stoves, ovens, microwaves, coffee makers, kettles, crockery and various kitchen utensils available.

There is also a barbecue area in our cozy courtyard. You must bring your own charcoal and fire starters. Meals can be enjoyed in the guest kitchen dining area or the attached outdoor table/bench sets.

Dogs are welcome to join us in their own basket. However, we always need to contact us directly at [email protected] to make a reservation, as we only have a few rooms where we allow dogs.

Dogs are allowed to be left alone in the room if they do not disturb other guests. Dogs are allowed in our courtyard and outdoor areas, both of which must be kept on a leash.
Dogs are not allowed in our dining room, guest kitchen or TV room.

It is expected that dogs brought to Danhostel Vejle Vandrerhjem are calm, used to many people, new places, not noisy and that consideration is given to other guests who may not like dogs.

Smoking is not allowed inside. All smoking must take place outside the hostel. Violating this rule will result in a charge of DKK 1,000. and you will be expelled from Danhostel Vejle without a refund for your stay.

Bookings made as “Non Ref/Last Minute/Low budget” cannot be changed or refunded.

We are an accommodation for families, individual guests, tourists, school camps and groups.

We reserve the right to refuse the guest at any time and may ask to see photo identification upon arrival and charge a deposit.
